Nature Trails Nature Connection Toddlers/Parents

If your child is ready to wander, wonder, and get a little muddy, we would love to welcome them into our circle. Rooted in early childhood development, this class is designed especially for ages 3–5, inspired by the playful spirit of Forest Kindergartens and the deep listening approach of Coyote Mentoring. Together, we step outside the rush of schedules and into a slower rhythm—one where curiosity leads and questions matter more than quick answers.
In this space, learning happens through the senses. Little hands dig into soil, stack sticks, splash in puddles, and discover the tiny worlds hidden in plain sight. We follow the child’s natural instincts to explore, while gently guiding them to notice patterns, build confidence, and connect with the living world around them.
Caregivers are part of the experience too—learning alongside their children how to support exploration without taking it over, how to encourage creativity without rushing the outcome. Through stories, play, and shared discovery, we build not just skills, but relationships—with nature, with each other, and within ourselves.
This is a place for imagination, for belonging, for the kind of learning that sticks because it is felt. Our group will be small to keep it personal and connected, so please sign up soon as spots will fill quickly.
Meet your Instructor: Ali Arnote has helped to create meaningful outdoor experiences for children and their families for the past decade. Inspired by her own two boys, she became a certified Tinkergarten Leader, then went on to train at the Wilderness Awareness School. While over the last few years, Ali has worked with school age kids at The Bridge School and SSNS, she is excited to return to working with the young ones and help create meaningful experiences that support child development, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong relationship with the natural world.
