Nature Day Camp
Friday October 9th

Ages 7-10

(if your child is 6 years old and they have been in one of my programs at Seahurst Park they can join this one)

Times 9am-3pm 

This adventurous and playful day will also include learning about nature and science. The group will experience the Seahurst Park together, slow down and practice our awareness skills. The benefits of being outside are studied and researchers notice longer attention spans, increased creativity and less fear of the natural world.

Meet your Instructor: Ali Arnote has helped to create meaningful outdoor experiences for children and their families for the past decade. Inspired by her own two boys, she became a certified Tinkergarten Leader, then went on to train at the Wilderness Awareness School.  While over the last few years, Ali has worked with school age kids at The Bridge School and SSNS, she is excited to return to working with the young ones and help create meaningful experiences that support child development, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong relationship with the natural world.

Please prepare your child for the day by packing a lunch, water and rain gear into an over the shoulder backpack. We met (drop off at 9am) at Seahurst Park in Burien by the playground and bathrooms. The cost is $65 for the day. No flip flops Natives or Crocks! Sneakers are best…
